![]() Pikachu VRS, or Pikachu Genki Dechu as it's called in Japan (literally, Pikachu is Feeling Fine) is something totally new to the N64. As always, pokemon have done it again by creating a new gaming genre as well as new technology. Pikachu VRS is basically a virtual pet for your N64. Don't judge it so quickly, you will easily be able to interact with your Pikachu with the new VRS pak. The VRS pak is a basically a microphone headset which allows you to talk to your Pikachu! In other words, giving it commands, asking it questions, giving it compliments or insults, and playing games with it. There is no real goal to the game, except to keep your Pikachu happy and explore its homeland with it. You have to watch out however, as Pikachu is a very emotional creature and will be very angry when you say certain words, such as "ugly" or "Playstation". Hmm... Throughout the game, your Pikachu will be able to explore its virtual world and encounter some obstacles along the way. For instance, how do you get that apple Pikachu wants when it's all the way up in a tree? Also, your Pikachu can interact with other pokemon it meets along the way, such as Oddish, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and more. All the way Pikachu will let you know how it feels with its facial expressions and little thought bubbles above its head. Remember, when your Pikachu gets mad, it gets MAD. Well, after Pikachu VRS, which will supposedly be released around December, we will all know the joy (or not) of raising your very own pokemon. Odd, yet intriguing. Don't miss out. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
